Marriage: It's Hard – Chelsea's

Marriage: It's Hard

Posted by Carly Uthe-Leither on

On the day of your wedding, the last thing you think about is all the challenges and obstacles you and your new forever partner will inevitably encounter along this journey we call life.

Between unforeseen medical, vet and dental bills, purchasing our first home, a new - very energetic - puppy, and lots of vehicle problems (drive em till they die is our motto!) my husband and I adult-ed hard this year.

In today's episode, I (Carly) am on the other side of the mic, joined by my husband, Joey, as we celebrate our second wedding anniversary. Year two certainly poised to be an extra hard year for us and our marriage. It's no secret that couples will encounter some type of conflict throughout their relationship. In the episode, we sit down to talk about the not so glamorous side of marriage and discuss some of our biggest disagreements we have had throughout our second year of marriage.

In the episode, Joey and I sit down with our very special host, Chelsea, to talk about the not so glamorous side of marriage and discuss some of our biggest disagreements we have had throughout our second year of marriage. Our hope is that we can inspire any couple out there to work through the tough times using six specific methods discovered by expert Marriage and Family Counselor, Dr. John Gottman.
