As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, summer is rapidly coming to an end. Students are trading texting for typing essays and reading tweets for reading novels. Teachers are swapping summer days at the pool for long days in the classroom, and both are saying farewell to another great summer.
The new school year comes with the thought of the impact teachers have on students’ lives. Having a great teacher can change a student's school year, and beyond. I think We have all had at least one teacher when we think back on our education, that had an impact on shaping us in some form. That is why this Women in Our Community feature is incredibly special.
