The beautiful women below make up much of the Chelsea's team. We wanted to share with all of you what exactly it is that we are especially thankful for this holiday season. There is nothing too big or too small to feel blessed for. Whatever it is that makes your heart and soul happy, that's what we wish you receive this season. Take a deep breath and love something a little extra. <3
This year I am so thankful for my parents. Throughout my schooling and starting my full time career, they have been so supportive and encouraging. They’ve been patient with me when I was feeling overworked, and they’ve done whatever they can to help relieve my stress. They mean the world to me!
I am thankful for my crockpot. Even on the busiest of days, I can count on this hunk of metal to have a warm dinner prepared for me when I come home. It is by no means high tech, and could probably be considered an antique since it was given to me to take to college after my parents upgraded! It still works like a charm and usually gets filled with some great recipe from my mom which makes me feel that much closer to home during this holiday season.
I am thankful for my family, and being able to spend time with them this holiday season. I am also thankful for all of the new friendships I’ve found this year.
This season, I am so incredibly grateful for my wonderful husband! He is my loudest cheerleader, the greatest supporter and is constantly taking care of me, our home and working behind the scenes on our businesses. He's always up for my weird and random ideas, knows how to push me forward and pick me up when I'm down. I'll never be able to express my thanks enough to this beautiful, kind-hearted man.
I am thankful for the city of Sioux Falls. I love that there are always so many things to see and do, but what I love even more than that is how kind and caring the people of Sioux Falls are. Thanks for making me feel right at home the past 6 months!
This year I’m so thankful for my beautiful baby girl! I’m so grateful to my husband for working hard so that I can be at home with her. I love our precious time together and getting to watch her grow. I’m also grateful to have a beautiful community of women surrounding me at Chelsea’s who have helped me transition into this season of my life.
This season I would like to recognize and thank my best friend, Catie. She has such a beautiful, kind, and genuine soul. Life is never boring around Catie and I can’t believe I survived my first 18 years without her!
I am so thankful for chances to play games with people! I love the way games bring us out of our shells and allow us to relate more authentically with those around us - even if we were strangers before playing. Currently, I’m obsessed with the games Happy Salmon and 7 Wonders Duel, so hop on Amazon (or head to Game Chest if you’re in Sioux Falls!) and snatch them up!
I am thankful for this child that is more of a gift than I could've ever imagined. Looking back at this photo from four years ago has me remembering that time is never on our side. Be observant. Be present. <3 She challenges me daily to be a more complete, patient, kind, and loving woman. Shoutout to my beautiful husband, as well, who loves me for me even on my darkest days.
This year I am especially thankful for my amazing mom. She is truly the most kindhearted person I know and my biggest role model. She’s my best friend and I couldn’t imagine my life without her.
I am thankful for the life growing inside of me and for the unwavering support I’ve received from so many as I learn to be a mother.
This Thanksgiving season I am thankful for my college. I am so so so thankful for the opportunity, community, and growth Northwestern has blessed me with!!!
